Preciousstones: The election was as smooth as ever, by Friday all results are in and party leaders who lost resigned immediately and life moved on within 24hrs of casting votes. Nigeria is still in transition since March while last minute looting goes on 1 Like |

justwise: In as much as i agree with you, i also have to give credit to Nigeria and Nigerians for the conduct of this Election that just passed. British Election has been like that for decades, No changes noticed. Nigeria Election has a lot of changes to it. Imagine an incumbent President lost an election in Nigeria, and so what many Senators, Governors etc. it was an unbelievable thing. Nigeria has really developed to that extent and i must applaud the good job the home based did. Why i quote you justwise is that no comparison should be made b/t Nigeria election and British election. If there is any credit that should go to any of the two, it should be Nigeria. Just look at what is happening in other African nations eg. Burundi. Nigeria did wonderfully well and am very happy with the developments. |

Preciousstones: You are right my sister. But remember that elections in Nigeria was worst than the last one. We saw a lot of changes and we should give them credit. Am really impressed. Let us all acknowledge the great changes that has been made. it will also help us see positive things in our people. The moment we start comparison with Britons and others, it will only give us more anger on how this are going back home. Let us also encourage all diasporans to look at things in a positive way. |

henrychubayo: Which credit?do you know how many people died during this election?do know journalists were beaten too?I don't know why Nigerians like lying to themselves. People lost their lives and properties during this recent election and a govt-elect went ahead to do thanksgiving after blood-shed in his state. Do you know how much diasporans send everyday to nigeria?do you think they are happy?Nigerian govt will travel abroad for medical care and most of the docs that look after them are Nigerians.so why can't they fix things here?let's accept things are not working period. 1 Like |

Preciousstones: That has been the case for ages, billions wasted on bribing people to vote for them, because of violence many polling booths never opened, ballot boxes going missing. To him that is a change and he is very happy with the development. 1 Like |
