DAURA – The APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari won
overwhelmingly in his polling unit in Sakin Yara ‘A’, Kofar Baru 3 in Daura Local
Government Area of Katsina State soundly defeating

APC won 499 out of the total 501 votes cast in the presidential polls, the PDP
got zero and three votes were voided. As for the National Assembly elections,
APC got 478 votes for the Senate while the PDP got 18 and the Peoples

Democratic Movement (PDM) went home with three votes. Three votes were
invalidated.
As for the House of Representatives, APC got 500 votes while PDP and APGA
got one vote each.
APC was declared winner of the election.
