Runoffs In Nigeria Presidential Elections Predicted by saintneo(m): 10:12pm On Mar 30, 2015
Going by the results seen in the ongoing presidential elections in Nigeria, I believe that Nigerians should prepare for a second round of election for the presidency.

According to the Nigerian Constitution Article 134(2), the president elect should:
1 Earn the majority of popular votes casts.
2 Earn 25% of the votes cast in two-thirds of all the states and FCT.

Going by the results in the NW&NE, President Jonathan will not be able to achieve the second part of the mandate. Also, according to the results in SE&SS, Mr Buhari will never get 25% from one state not to talk of three states in these two regions.

Consequently, I advice both contestants, Prof JEGA, INEC and all Nigerians in general to prepare for runoffs in the presidential elections.
