I've believed Nigeria was ripe for a change, an alternative to GEJ. Even if GEJ is willing to handover his office, PDP is not and will not handover to Buhari. The reason is simple, all the former governors, PDP officials who had stolen upto half of all revenues that had accrued to their states had found solace and pardon in the arms of PDP either as advisers or as sympathizers. In addition, some of them have been working towards a ministerial slot
I am sure they will not rush into self exile at this point without giving a fight to ensuring Buhari does not ascend to the throne. They will not handover their loots just like that and so they must re-strategize to frustrate any handover to Buhari from taking place. The fear of what Buhari could do to them is the instigating factor

So between now and May, a lot of things are expected with the legal technicalities being the least in the disqualification plans, there could also be plans of elimination and substitution
It is not yet uhuru for APC or Gen Buhari. The likelihood of a handover is very slim, some other persons may say it is non-existent
I wish Nigeria the best and the looters disengaged from continued stealing which was the Hallmark of GEJ's 4 years
