Nigerian stock market performance today witnessed huge gains unprecedented in the history of Nigerian Stock Exchange

Fourteen stocks post >10% gain today, 1st April 2015. Five other equities posted better than 9% daily gain.

See attached daily market report.

I believe this performance is largely due to portfolio investors, pension funds, foreign investors who had hitherto pulled all thier money out of the market in fear that the Presidential elections will be violent, and will lead to implosion of the country.

Thank God they have been proved wrong. Even more so thank God I was busy piling up good stocks, while people wasted their energy abusing themselves on NL.
