In the Entire world today, the christians are always the target of terrorists and this is due to rivalry which they believe their religion should take the lead. ISIL,BOko Haram, infact all Islamic Terrorist group in the name of Jihad target Christians. The Arabians don't want Christians to exist, but christians that are friends of the bible know that this is bound to happen, therefore let's pray against our destruction worked by the known Islamic sect. May the souls of those that have died as a result of attacks on Christians rest in peace!

Happy Easter!

Guy.. It was foretold by Jesus sermon on the mount. Prayers will not save you. You will all be persecuted, tortured, killed, maimed, raped, burned at the stake and eaten alive in most cases. It is your cross so carry it with pride Christians

don't be mistaken. We are Christians and we have to pray. Jesus said, we will be persecuted for the truth, yes! Jesus said the end time will come and the signs are what we are seeing now. Incest, Gayism and all sorts, then should we because it is a sign, partake in them? If it is a sign, churches don't need to pray then. When Silas and Pau was in the prison, they shouldnt have prayed and die in the prison... So we needto pray

While the spiritual angle would make it satisfying to xtians that they are being selectively persecuted because they are the 'saints', the reality is far from that. Even if we limit 'terrorism' to actions by only Islamist groups; ignoring CAR and Myanmar and Gujarat etc, we can see that more Muslims are killed than Xtians; from BH to ISIS. Also, I doubt if the Satan worshippers (Yazidis), and the Shi'a alawites who ISIS tried to exterminate would fall under your explanation of 'saintly persecutions'. Even where xtians are selected, I percieve it mainly to be from resentment against xtian led/ supported invasions of Muslim majority countries like Somalia, Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan. In Iraq and Syria for example, xtians were a relatively prosperous community until the US 'liberated' them from Saddam and Assad. The terrorists merely see xtians as the representatives of the unreachable drone and jet fighter operators bombing them from above. It would also help if the West stopped describing their 'war on terror' as a crusade.
