But I think she can afford all this. She was a director in shell or so. A minister of petroleum and opec chairman would naturally be rich

Let them post d pics of d Indimis,Mai Deribes, Danjumas,Lukmans,Babangidas,d Abachas etc from d faraway desert north who are even living larger.
The earlier some class of Nigerians removed their eyes from d oil in Madueke's backyard,d better.lol

We (Northerners) will/can never shield our black sheeps. We gave you the fabulous lifestyle of Fct minister's son. It's on records that there was attempt to bundle the late Umar Dikko from UK back to Naija for corruption charges before it was foiled. Abacha's son who never held any public office was imprisoned, did we stop it?
with our votes we have succeeded in preventing corrupt powerful serving governors from representing us at the Nat'l Assembly. Bode George went to jail in Naija while James Ibori and Alameseigha were left untouched by the powers that be.
Diezani has a case to answer even if na her mama piss dey generate our national income. Until our constitution say otherwise the oil belongs to all Nigerians.

Even though these pictures are very old and this issue has been trashed in the past, I will like to state as follows;

Are Niger Deltans supposed to work a day in their lives ? Niger Deltans are supposed to own oil wells, and live limousine lifestyles, and own Lamboghini.

Any parasite that doesnt like this, should go back into his farm and resurrect their dying cocoa plantation and groundnut pyramid.

The Niger Delta is the poorest area in Nigeria. This is in spite of the high allocations those states get every month as well has having their son at the center of power at the federal level for 8 years.

The land which shell uses especially for its residential quarters in either Bayelsa or Rivers State belongs to her father since he is the traditional ruler of that community. She has always been referred to as a Shell baby because her lifestyle especially education from cradle had been financed by Shell.

Her husband also owns a telecommunication company which charges a fee for connecting calls from one network with another. So if you dry call MTN with your Glo line, her husband's company makes money from it.

However, I think decorum should have been applied especially regarding their lifestyle.

Some of us Nairalanders are plane wittyless.
And am pretty sure that's why many of us remain
jobless, unfulfilled and sadistic.

Even after seeing the profiles of the parents
of these kids, we are still mouthing nonsense.

For the information of anyone that's boiling over
with envy, I encourage you to do a RATIONAL
check-out on the Maduekes - and I mean the
amiable statesman and his wife - and you'd
find that both of them are probably much
more honorable and productive than your
parents.

As the following qoute shows, Madueke is
at the healm of several multi million-dollar
businesses that you cannot hear of simply
because they are NOT dealing with fast moving
consumer products you buy everyday.

I don't know how many mega E&P
servicing companies you guys know of, or
how many shipping lines you've actually seen,
but I want you to know that there're tons of lega,
morally upright and silent but billions-producing
businesses going on all the time in Nigeria
especially in the South. The fact that you've never
heard about them does not make any diff.

Finally, a wise man once said that it's only a fool
that critisizes the master who has results.

And personally, I so much believe that success is
universal, and as such, anyone that antagonizes
the wealth of others will NEVER be rich.

Are you forgetting that Malam Sanusi Lamido used 1.2 billion Naira on hiring private jets according to CBN audit?

Looking at their parents portfolio, the can afford it without your ridiculous suspicion and inexperience

They can indeed afford that lifestyle without your insinuation.

She was moved to Mines and Steel Development in 2008, and in April 2010 was appointed Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Background

Diezani K. Agama was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Her father was Chief Frederick Abiye Agama. She studied architecture in England and then at Howard University in the United States.[2] She graduated from Howard with a Bachelor's degree on 8 December 1992.[3] She returned to Nigeria and joined Shell Petroleum Development Corporation that year. In 2002, she attended Cambridge University for her MBA.[2] In April 2006, Shell appointed her its first female Executive Director in Nigeria.[4]

Since 1999 she has been married to Admiral Allison Madueke (retired), one-time Chief of Naval Staff who was at various times governor of Imo and Anambra State.[2] she has a son Chimeze Madueke In September 2011 Alison-Madueke was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Management Sciences by the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.[5]

Federal cabinet positions

Cynthia Madueke is her daughter live in so many countries,Diezani Alison-Madueke has held three significant positions in the Nigerian federal government. She was appointed Transport Minister in July 2007. On 23 December 2008, she was named as Minister of Mines and Steel Development.[6] After Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan became acting President in February 2010, he dissolved the cabinet on 17 March 2010, and swore in a new cabinet on 6 April 2010 with Alison-Madueke as Minister for Petroleum Resources.[7]

Minister of Petroleum Resources

As Minister of Petroleum Resources, Alison-Madueke has pledged to transform Nigeria's oil and gas industry so that all Nigerians benefit.[8]

In April 2010, President Goodluck Jonathan signed the Nigerian Content Act, which aims to increase the percentage of petroleum industry contracts that are awarded to indigenous Nigerian businesses - a reaction to the domination of the sector by foreign operators.[9]

One of the most controversial policies introduced under Alison-Madueke is the government's plan to remove state subsidies on fuel prices. Alison-Madueke has supported the discontinuation of the subsidy on the grounds that it "poses a huge financial burden on the government, disproportionately benefits the wealthy, [and] encourages inefficiency, corruption and diversion of scarce public resources away from investment in critical infrastructure."[10]

Alison-Madueke is the first woman to hold the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources in Nigeria, and in October 2010 she became the first woman to head a country delegation at the annual OPEC conference. She was also the first female Minister of Transportation, and the first woman to be appointed to the board of Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria.[11] On the 27th of November, 2014 she got elected as the first female President of OPEC [12]

On working in male-dominated sectors, Alison-Madueke said she warned the young women she mentored while at Shell to "change their mode of thinking."[13]

Controversy

In June 2008 Alison-Madueke was subject to a Senate probe after it emerged that as Transport Minister she had paid 30.9 billion naira ($263 million) to contractors between 26 and 31 December 2007. She is said to be worth over a billion naira .

However, she has never been charged or tried for these allegations and has strongly denied any wrongdoing. Diezani Allison was alleged to have spent billions of dollars inappropriately on private jets whilst many Nigerians suffer. She also alleged to have been having an affair with President Jonathan[14] and responsible for missing $20 billion dollars. She is also widely accused of reckless spending of Govt funds. [15] [16] [17] [18] In September 2008 there was an unsuccessful attempt to kidnap Alison-Madueke at her house in Abuja with her son Chimezie Madueke.[19]

In October 2009, the Senate of Nigeria indicted Diezani Alison-Madueke and recommended prosecution for the alleged transfer of 1.2 billion naira into the private account of a toll company without due process and in breach of concession agreement. [20] However, the allegations have never been taken to law, and the Minister maintains her innocence.[21]
