AND HAVING… | Colossians 2: 15 (KJV)

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”

As stated yesterday, obviously, Satan has no legal ground against any believer regardless of anything whatsoever, 'SIN' inclusive. In other words, sins are paid for once and for all | See Romans 4: 25 - 5: 1, 8: 1, Hebrews 7: 25 - 27, 9: 12, 1 Corinthians 5: 21.

The sacrifice of Jesus’ blood did not only covered our past and the present failures. It is also a deposit for future failures.

1 John 1: 7 (AMP) | “But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]”

Grammatically, ‘Cleanses’ isn't a past nor present tense phrase. Rather, it denotes present continuous tense. In other words, the blood of Jesus performs a 'Constant and Simultaneous' works of cleansing - always/at all time cleanses out sins. His target is 'Sin'.

That sounds ‘Too-Good-To-Be-True’; right? Absolutely, that was what disarmed principalities and powers. That was the sacrifice that removed Satan’s teeth. That was what rendered Satan and his cohorts useless over our lives.

Devil, now a toothless bull dog. He can only bark but can’t hurt. He can only remind you of the judgment that accompany breaking the LAW CODES - 'TORAH' in Hebrew. However, he can’t deny the fact that the blood of Jesus, constantly and simultaneously, cleanses us from all sins. And that denies him a legal ground against us – the New Creations. For someone, this might be too hard to accept, nevertheless, that will not change the fact that it is a factual statement.

The phrase ‘Spoiled’ is ‘apekduomai’ (ap-ek-doo'-om-ahee) in Greek - to divest wholly oneself (strip, rid, dissociate, separate, part from, deny, deprive, rob; or (for oneself) despoil, that is. rob, plunder, sack, pillage, loot, rifle, ransack: - put off, spoil.

The phrase ‘Triumphing Over’ is ‘thriambeuō’ (three-am-byoo'-o) in Greek. This literally speak of; ‘to make an acclamatory procession, that is, figuratively, to conquer or by Hebraism, to give victory: - (cause) to triumph (over).

Dearly beloved, Jesus’s Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension 'STRIPPED' all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets; and made an acclamatory procession - TRIUMPHED OVER. Mercy took the place of Judgment.

Beloved, over 2000 years ago, the price was paid; and now, it is still as effective as it was then. We are no longer at the mercy of Satan. Rule over Him in victory.

NOW, SAY | In Christ Jesus, I rule over all spiritual tyrants in the universe.
