Critical Factors That is imperative for Jimi Agbaje's to win at the polls by Medley(m): 5:55pm On Apr 07, 2015
The governorship election scheduled for april 11,this saturday stands to prove a point about; will the PDP ever be at the helm of affairs in lagos state.

With The tinubu political presence that have been successful in ensuring the PDP never have their way in lagos, still very much around; even the political might of former president olusegun obasanjo, could bot stand the bandwagon of the tinubu factor.

This is 2015 and lots have changed, here are the critical factors that will determine if agbaje wins.

1. The change mantra of APC
the word change in itself has a psychological effect on every Nigeria especially in places were a particular party have been in position as the ruling party for a long time. Lagosians are also demanding for change in government to see if there can be progress in areas where the previous government have not been efficient.

2. The Jimi agbaje persona
A lot has been said about the possibility of jimi's inexperience on the job,but some lagosians believe that they can trust him,due to his inherent qualities and the integrity they percieve he has, coupled with his gentle person.

3. The policies of the ruling party of the state

There is this believe that most policies of the Incumbent government are always directed to favour the elites(in lekki etc.) leaving out the poor. For example, some say the housing unit are always costly for the poor; some okada riders ban on some roads; house owners that their houses were demolished to rebuild the state feel aggrieved, though this were done to better the lifes of lagosians, but some aren't seeing it in that perspective and this people form the large part of the society.

4.The group of supporters of Jimi agbaje

many people forget that Jimi agbaje is a yoruba, and have yoruba supporters, and with the recent outburst of the infamous lagoon threat, many sympathy votes from both yorubas and non-indigenes may go the way of Jimi, because he seem to have a better relationship with non-indigines.

5. The electoral awareness of this era
gone are the days when lagosians feel votes don't count, and the scare of being rough handled by political thugs, the presidential election showed a low turn-out,but with the awareness of safety, lagos will record a lot of votes and this may even see the winner winning with wide margin. In all the major factor against Jimi is the alignment with the federal government and a lot must first be done for people to understand if it's important.

What other factor do you think will be a determinant to the april 11 election?

The APC still have a good chance 60% to win at the polls.considering that they are the ruling party.

but the story can change if what happened in the presidential is further helped by yorubas who all voted for Bhhari and not the party of the candidate.
