Innocent pastor's daughter died just like that? A promising live wasted

Even mosques have been destroyed recently because someone does not like what the imam is saying.

So why do they preach "a religion of peace" when they clearly depict an unholy aberrance for Christians and Christianity. Whatever happened to free religion

lalasticlala:
Unidentified arsonists, the Baptist Church at Gidan Maso village in Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State has been set ablaze and the residence of the Pastor, Rev Habila Garba, burnt by irate youths.

During the incident which happened on April 1 at about 7:30 pm, one of the Pastor’s daughters died of suffocation and most parts of the house destroyed as a result of the fire.

The President of “Tarayyar Masihiyawan Nijeria” (Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri Christians), General Ishaku Ahmed Dikko (retd), told journalists on Tuesday in Abuja that the intention was to kill one youth, Yahaya Joshua, who converted to Islam but later on reverted back to Christianity.

The Baptist Church at GIDAN MASO village of Rogo LGA in Kano State was set on fire by youths of the Village on 01 April, 2015 at about 7:30 pm. The Church and all the properties were burnt down in the presence of the Christian Community despite all pleadings for them to stop the destruction. The arsonists gathered cornstalks and put inside the Church in order to cause greater damage. This made the action to seem deliberate and for ulterior motives.

The Christians present exhibited great Christian qualities by not taking the law into their hands by trying to stop them by force. Rather than the arsonist to see reason, they were infuriated which led to setting the house of the Pastor, Rev Habila Garba, ablaze as well. As a result of the fire, one of the Pastor’s daughters died of suffocation and most of the house destroyed.

They also attacked and wounded Bawa Adamu and Aminu Dauda, who received machet cuts leading to broken arms. Others received similar wounds but of lesser degrees.

I am outraged.
The difference between the Qur'an and the "Old Testament" is that the former actively calls on people to commit acts of violence when something or someone goes against Allah's creed. Unlike the "Old Testament", every verse of it is used as a divine blueprint for human behaviour. Devout Muslims (much like flat earth fundamentalists) will not accept that the Qur'an was the work of many different hands, not a single strand of divine revelation, issuing death threats against those who want to examine its textual composition.
Alarming numbers of Northerners does have a fundamental problem with coexistence and they don't appear to share the same views as we do.

Such act is highly unacceptable and condemnable in any society. The security agencies should be at alert to stall a further breakdown of law and order. The arsonists cum murderers need to be arrested along with their sponsors and be brought to justice. We hope not to see the return of inter-religious conflict in Kano State.

Islamic teaching really needs total overhaul to meet modern day living. Don't we have Christians who have converted to Islam and nothing happens? Why all this intolerance and evil mind. GOD PLEASE COME TO OUR AID. cry cry angry angry shocked shocked
