Hon Chris Okaeben  (born 25th December 1972 in the heart beat of Nigeria Edo state) He is a Nigerian politician, businessman and philanthropist, who have served in various government platforms.


  He had his early education between the year 1978-1984 at university of Benin Staff School Benin City, and furthered his secondary education at Adolo College Benin city. Chris obtained a B.S.C and M.S.C in Banking and Finance from the university of Benin, Benin City.

 

Hon Chris Okaeben has held different public offices in Edo state Nigeria. Ranging from Oredo Local Government council supervisor for youth and sport between the year 2004-2007. In 2007 he was appointed as Oredo local Government Transition Committee Member as Supervisor for Youth and Sport. In 2008 he took up a short term job as a Frontier Drilling ASA Logistic Manager at Oasis Offshore Nigeria, before he was called up to work with the state Governor as a senior special assistant on youth empowerment a position he held for one year before he was elevated to the office of a secretary to the local Government in Oredo local Government council. In 2013 Hon. Chris Okaeben became the executive director and chairman of petroleum and gas monitoring unit.

 

 He is a name on the lips of all Edo youth as he has served as a Commissioner of Youth and Sport, in the year 2014-2015 an office he handled exceptionally. Hon Chris Okaeben is a right hand man of the present Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Alui Oshomole. Hon Chris okaeben is a man after the heart of the people of Edo State. He is a renowned philanthropist and a man who has got the plight of the masses at heart.

 

 Due to his selfless services he was given a ticket by his political party APC the ruling party in Nigeria to run as an honorable member of the house of assembly in  Oredo West Constituency. In the coming election.

 

Hon Christ Okaeben is happily married to Mrs. Nosakhare C. Okaeben and they are blessed with four children.
