The best android plan is glo, you get 4.5gb for 2,500 naira that expires in one month. Dial *127*58# to get the plan, and *127*0# to check your data balance. I am using it and it's very fast and doesn't burn out quickly like airtel that browses sluggishly and loses network when rain falls. I had to port to glo from airtel. Bye bye airtel, welcome glo my new found love. Try it out guys.

Just google and download simple server, load 100naira and text BBMIDID to 21600, connect ur modem using default MTN settings, opening the simple server and minimize it. Configure ur browser proxy IP:127.0.0.1 and port:8080 and likewise ur download manager. Enjoy

Hm.. It's probably a network problem or the imei might have been used. You can retry again later and dial *123*4*3*2# to check for your data balance incase they sent it but didn't notify in a message.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 is not an MTK device. Does it mean there's nothing I can do to get this Glo 3Gb?

What I know is that paying 1k for 350mb in 2015 is totally unacceptable. Depending on your device and your location, if ur phone is a mediatek powered phone [not snapdragon] you can have it tweaked a little and u could use 1k for 3gigs on Glo.
Or try any of these their new overload plans ; they are way better. Or you can still get 1gig with N1200 from all these data share vendors.
But whichever way plsssssss stop paying 1k for 350mb.

Though I am using GIONEE P2 Android. I will enter town as per your advise. Thanks a million
