The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the governorship election in Imo state inconclusive. This decision was due to the number of cancelled votes (144,715) in relation to the margin of win (79,529) by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Rochas Okorocha. APC:- 385,671 votes PDP:-306,142 votes Registered voters:- 1,803,030. PVC collected:- 1, 770,449. Voters turnout- less than 50% (national average except in Rivers -the rigging den) Going by the national average, we expect less than 50% of those cancelled votes (144715-registered voters) to come out to vote. This is 72,357.5 votes. Assuming everyone here votes PDP (impossible, since cancellation affects APC strongholds), APC will still carry the day with simple majority. Conclusion:- whether NEPA or no NEPA, beat am, harder,harder harder...   Back to the topic, in conclusion APC/Rochas has won. Inconclusiveness was just an attempt to follow inec rule.3 Likes |
