babashiko: Oh sorry.. it should be run on PC For those that want to root their phone with Getroot, it's simple; All you have to do is: Click and Download Getroot here directly to your pc, then Enable USB debugging mode on your phone, and connect your phone to the computer, it will recognize your phone and then click the "root" button on your iRoot app on your pc and wait for the root result, it will show Root Successful Then restart your phone and enjoy |

Good day, at times I exhibit stalker-esque attributes. I had sought this phone online even when I still had my fully functional Tecno Phantom A+. I can even say with some degree of confidence that I have read ALL reviews of this device in English. You can imagine my joy when I got the opportunity to purchase this device on the 5th of June from seyijame on Nairaland. In the spirit of the format of reviews, I’ll breakdown the review into the aspects Design and Build My previous device, the phantom had a 5” screen and I felt that it was pretty big, nothing prepared me for the huge difference in size between a 5” device and a 5.5” device, and it is enormous. At first I had issues gripping the device and as I adjusted to the size I began to try one-handed use. Word of advice, DON’T. In my opinion, the ECOO E04 Aurora Plus is well built with no obvious design deformity, I have a little gripe though, I wish the silver colored band around the phone was actual aluminum, it would have protected the phone from edge drops and added more structural rigidity. Display Coming from a 720p 5” display (293ppi), I expected wonders from the 1080p 5.5” display (400ppi) but I wasn’t blown away by the display. The only things I appreciate from the display are the excellent color reproduction and the screen real estate (aka space). This extra screen space is most appreciated in Opera Mini, you have to scroll less to consume web page content. The display is very bright and auto-brightness works flawlessly. About the touch response, the screen was very responsive even when charging either with the stock charger or USB which is noteworthy considering my experience with my Phantom A+. Performance I would break this down into three sections, Processor and RAM (Multitasking): the Octa-Core, 1.7GHz Cortex A53 processor paired with this beastly 3GB or 933MHz LPDDR3 RAM provide unprecedented levels of multitasking. With me running 15 apps and constantly switching between them, I did not notice any stuttering or lags and no app reloads or crashes. When I checked RAM usage, it showed 1.4GB remaining. Imagine the possibilities. Graphics (Gaming): I am not much of a gamer, but judging from the two games I have played on this device i.e. Temple Run and NFS Most Wanted, the Mali T760 MP2 GPU running at 700MHz would play even Modern Combat 5 without problems. Warning: the phone heats up considerable when gaming intensely Connectivity: the Aurora comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, GPRS EDGE 3G HSDPA HSPA+ and 4G LTE support. The 4G advantages are kinda lost on we Nigerians but the connectivity works without hitches, though I am yet to test the GPS.
