As JAMB Change of Course and
Institution continues, I have noticed that many
candidates are not really informed about what they
ought to consider before requesting for a JAMB
Change of Course and Institution.

Before considering a change in either your course
of study or the institution you applied for, you ought
to first confirm that your UTME Subject combination
and your O'level result tallies with the required
criteria needed to be admitted to study that
particular course since many institutions have
specific standard requirements for all courses
offered.

I have had cases of candidates who sat for
science-related subjects in JAMB requesting to
change their courses to a management-related
course. There is no way any institution will admit
you into a course that you did not meet the
standard requirement to study.

In view of this, I have created this thread for
candidates to post any challenges or issues they
need clarifications on regarding the 2015 JAMB
Change of course and institution and have other
enlightened Nairalanders that will provide answers
to them to avoid mistakes that could cost you your
admission.

You can also post your UTME score and
subjects, and O'level result if need be as well as the
course or institution you wish to change to for
proper guidance.

I will also like to inform all JAMB candidates, who would want to effect a change in either of any of their
Courses or Institutions, that this service and
procedure ends on 17th April, 2015.

Although I am not sure if there will be any extension in the date but you should do well to ensure you effect
your changes before the above stated date.

Please avoid trying to play smart by waiting to see if
your current school of choice would release cut-off,
before taking a decision to make your changes.

Based on history, schools will not release their
post-UTME cut-off or procedures until the change
of course is over, no matter the extension.

Do your research based on previous post-UTME
cut-offs and information and effect your changes
immediately. Please DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE.

Of course, you can sit for any university p'utme in as much you have the relevant requirements.
