THAT IS A MISUSE | Luke 9: 55 (NKJV)

“But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of”

Picking from where we stopped yesterday; undoubtedly, God has no pleasure in people terrorizing others. He detests that. However, He does not hate the personality behind the terrorism. It will be a wrong label on the personality of God if we conclude that God does hate | 1 John 4: 8, John 3: 16.

There is what we really needed to see. Those antagonists or adversaries of ours or that of the nation aren’t ‘Flesh and blood’. They are not physical forces, rather, spiritual. They might look human but what is controlling them isn’t human. Those forces are called; “Evil rulers of the unseen world, the mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and the wicked spirits in the spirit world”. These forces have no flesh of their own. They only operate by taking possession of any available vessel around them since it takes flesh to relate with flesh. This is why it is so essential to know our opponents very well in order to avoid the ‘Misuse’ of our God given Power/Authority | See Ephesians 6: 12, 2 Corinthians 10: 4 – 5.

THIS WILL HELP: 2 Corinthians 4: 3 – 4 (AMP) | “But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost. (4) For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah)…”

Dearly beloved, stop attacking flesh and blood; rather, resist the god of this world. This is well explained in Ephesians 6: 12. It is a ‘MISUSE’ of power when we begin to attack one another – flesh and blood with the Power/Authority we have. Resist the spirit raising individual of such against your life. This is what we should resist – to resist the influences and operations of the spirit at work in them; against our lives or that of the nation.
