No. They're some games that must be played in HD. Think of it as having something in widescreen, but watching it in letterbox, you'll be missing out of the stuff going on at the sides.

I do, but I'm playing it using a HD TV & HDMI not an old school CRT TV. Yes, if you're using the composite wires, you could adjust the video resolution accordingly, but like a NLer* discovered a while back, he wasn't able to play a certain game because it kept telling him he didn't have the right specs to run the video.

You do remember he wants to use a 4:3 TV, right? So imagine when he tries to play GTA IV or COD and he gets the 80028F10 error, then he tries to fix it using the 16:9 setting workaround...Now, imagine what his screen would look like if it let's him play the game...So it's definitely not advisable.

cod would work on 4:3....most games that don't on 4;3 can't work on 16;9.....gta can never play on sdtv
