mjay: phantonce: Foolish talk! South African companies have invested heavily in Nigeria, creating good jobs for Nigerians. You cant compare Nigerians' petty and sole proprietor businesses in SA with South African multinational companies in Nigeria. MTN, Shoprite and other SA businesses employ tens of thousands of Nigerians in Nigeria. How many S. Africans are employed by Nigerian businesses in S Africa? You have to think even when you are angry! I made my comments based on the above post which I quoted and responded to. Or are you one of the people who wants to go and loot Shoprite and Mr Price? Ok, look for your gang members and go and loot MTN, Shoprite, Mr Price, IBTC Stanbic Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, SAB Millers and ALL South African companies you know in Nigeria; from Lagos to Kano to Port Harcourt to Enugu. in fact, you can loot and burn their offices and congratulate yourselves after the action. Kill the South African managers, directors and MDs in those companies as well. Then you would be proud that you have done a good job! Then the Nigerian businesses in SA can leave, and SA businesses in Nigeria can close down! I AM SURE YOU WOULD GET AN AWARD AFTER YOUR WONDERFUL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ISSUE AT HAND! |

justwise: Like I have sad: You are the same species as the xenophobic people here. How many Nigerians are amongst the dead? Do you know the numbers that you would concern yourself to an extent of killing another? How many has Boko Haram killed before your broken/fraught government took action? And here you are talking about the loss of human life as if you have any idea of its value. |

lolly2pops: Typical self centered South Africans who cares only about themselves, we care about every African that got killed by your uneducated, pot-smoking lazy waste of space brothers and sisters. At least Nigerian govt and other African countries are fighting BK while your incompetent Zuma can't even control his useless son who actively encouraged the killing. |

justwise: Your beloved Nigeria should do more to keep you and your siblings in that land. Are there any geographical demarcations because you people are all over? If your country loved you so much they should have provided for you and the rest before you started being a liability to other people. There is more incompetence I see in Nigeria than in SA. Look at your land, shameful! Develop your own and stop embezzling and looting what belongs to all natives of that land. Stop being greedy and SEE NIGERIA PROSPER THAN AND OTHER AFRICAN STATE. 1 Like |

lolly2pops:its your rather feeble attempt to rationalize the attacks rankle my head! are you saying you have personally performed autopsy on those killed? else, how the hell can you so sure they are not Nigerians? So because they stopped for three days, we should send them flowers? Mumu. |
Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by justwise(m): 1:17pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
lolly2pops: Yes Nigeria has her problems but Nigerians are open minded, hard working and ready to fix themselves anywhere in the world unlike SAns who are so timid, socially challenged with no exposure that can not survive outside their limited environment. You were flooded by the white with your tails behind your backs, even as you are liberated you still pick crumbs their table. What stops lazy-hungry looking South Africans from starting a business? |
Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by lolly2pops: 1:21pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
Toofan007: Boko Haram has massacred thousands of those who can not even defend themselves. I'm talking lactating mothers and their infants, the old and sick. And that did not get you talking enough haaah? If your Nigeria is so lovely why bother leave another land? Now, let me give you numbers since seeing you are clueless. Sadly 7 people lost their lives in these attacks and according to reports Nigerians are not amongst this number. The first step made in identifying someone would be through checking their identity documents...oh I forgot that you people carry fake documents all the time. 1 Like |

Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by lolly2pops: 1:28pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
justwise: you are somewhat correct. Nigerians have been hardened by circumstances in their own country. The hunger, the tribal war and even years of liberation has not brought any relief to the nation. What can I say. It is hard to compete with those whose feet and fingers have been hardened through manual labour, I mean manual farming and hunting....lol |
Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by justwise(m): 1:37pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
lolly2pops: At least we are doing it ourselves but the same can not be said about South African, marginalized even in your own country. You will get the taste of your own medicine, Zimbabweans were running their lousy mouth years ago just like South African now...but by 2012 they are jumping fences to SA to claim asylum |

Closing Consulates is not the resolution to the SA X/phobic attack. Protection of Foreign Nationals by SA govt. is the most immediate action for SA to do. Check out this. It is sad. https://www.facebook.com/714637455256618/videos/825363770850652/?fref=nf |

justwise: You have no idea what you are saying hey> Zims started jumping fences long before your 2012. Infact they became our adopted child since 1997. At least we remain in our land , we can not say the same about you. Inspite of your informal business in Nigeria infrastructure is still at zero. Till today you have no town planners and your villages are still disorderly built. Look at your airports, so sad but you possess a lot of natural resources that you hand out in exchange for money from the west. How unwise of you. You rather choke on dollars than seeing to the wellbeing of your country. You have even shown hatred to your fellow countryman without any regret. Let me awaken you for a moment: Why are individuals owning oil wells in your country? If you start addressing some of those things Nigeria would be a better place for all. 1 Like |

Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by justwise(m): 2:25pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
lolly2pops: Nigerians are not deluded, we condemn our own govt for the way they are running the country, we don't need SA to point that out. Take the white and their developments out of SA then you have an advanced Somalia. An average black South African got no idea what it means to study, work and survive. SA just like Zimbabwe were developed by the white, when white Zimbabweans left Zimbabwe with their investment the country went to the dogs. No currency, electricity and water rationed. They couldn't survive because they were been sustained by the white just like SA now. 1 Like |

Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by justwise(m): 2:55pm On Apr 23, 2015 |

I am surprised to hear so many testimonies on your Christian tv channels on granted visas. It's a shame that many's dreams there is to just get away. Yes, you chased them away but today it's rather embarrassing seeing that many of you are leaving Nigeria for the whiteman's land. |

Requested that my US senator rally Congress to quickly mitigate the wave of xenophobic attacks by working with the South African government to ensure the safety of foreigners... His response (relating to African's laissez faire attitude): Unfortunately, when America withdraws from the world, the world becomes a more dangerous place. We see evidence of that in the news almost every day. |
Re: South Africa Shuts Lagos Consulate by lolly2pops: 8:34am On Apr 24, 2015 |
justwise: See South Africa saw things from a different perspective. We learned to be tolerant of "whites" not because we so love them but needed them to continue investing in this country through their formal businesses. Makes me wonder why Nigerians never saw beyond their hatred for whites, and not only did they hate whites, they went as far as chasing Ghanaians from their country and as a result Nigeria's relations with Ghana remain sour to date. How did you benefit from your hatred? Nothing I guess as your country is still in shambles. Today most Nigerians sleep hungry and I know very well this is because of your greediness against your own people. Only a hand full of Nigerians are beneficiaries of the fruits of your good economy. Nigeria's wealth is in the hands of a few people who continue to live lavish lifestyles while their neighbours suffer. That in itself is the worse form of torture against your fellow people. OH YOU TALK OF BALLS, YOU MEAN THE SAME ONES THAT LANDED NIGERIA IN THE SHIT IT IS IN NOW? You are becoming a liability to other countries. You always seek attention, for the west to assist you even going as far as saying the world is not helping Nigeria fight BH. Yet you yourselves remained absent from the zones of conflict. I'm completely against the killing of foreigners in my country and I strongly believe the government should have put majors in place to avert such since the 2008 xenophobic attacks. The mentality of some South Africans is that foreigners are dirty, stupid and always at their mercy. What shocked most receptive South Africans was the government sluggish response to the attacks and their failure to reprimand the stupid Zulu King for inciting all this violence. I've mingled with foreign nationals since my days in varsity and continue to do so as I am married to a foreigner. I receive all foreigners with love and treat them with respect irrespective of where they come from, culture and all. Unfortunately some of my brothers and sisters are not seeing this from my view. |
