As imolites go back to the polls, weekend in over 250 polling units in 23 out of 27 local Government Areas in the state to decide who will be their governor for the next 4 years,the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,has ordered for total restrictions of movements on the election day In the state.

The INEC's Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Dr Gabriel Adah ,Thursday, in Owerri disclosed that there would total restrictions of movements in the state on the election day from 8am to 6pm.

Dr Adah asserted that the decision was taken to make sure that the election becomes a success.
The INEC Commissioner who said that the restrictions of movements apply to all the 27 LGAs of the state, submitted that security men would on ground to make sure that the order is obeyed.

He pleaded with the people of the state to help INEC in ensuring laudable polls by obeying all orders and instructions that would aid the Commission in delivering creditably.
