Indications have emerged that Anambra state governor Willie Obiano may be making secret moves aimed at defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). This speculation is due to the recent visit Gov Obiano paid President-Elect, General Muhammadu Buhari in his Aso Drive residence, Abuja on Friday. They had a closed door meeting that lasted for a long time. However, after the meeting, the governor dismissed the insinuations about his defection to APC stating he was there merely to congratulate him (Buhari) on his victory. He also added that he made appeal to the president elect about the second Niger Bridge, federal roads in the South East and federal appointments for Igbo indigenes.
