President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the appointment of Sanusi Lamido Ado Bayero as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), a statement by the presidency has said.

Mr. Sanusi, a lawyer, from Kano State, takes over from Habib Abdullahi, who has been relieved of his appointment as Managing Director of the Authority.

No reason was given for Mr. Abdullahi’s removal.

The appointment of the new NPA boss takes effect from Thursday, April 30.

“President Jonathan thanks the outgoing Managing Director for his services and wishes well in his future endeavours,” the statement said.

And the die minute madness continues, there alot behind all this sackings i must tell you, meanwhile this is the same sanusi PDP congratulated when The real Sanusi was made the emir. Well i believe his just trying to cover some loopholes and indirectly showing GMB those areas that needs urgent investigations

Coverup in SEC,NHS and NPA Goodluck Jonathan needs to cook the books before Buhari takes over on May 29th that is why he sacked the Managing Directors of these organizations

Seriously am beginning to believe there is a bad motive behind this sacking of Managing Directors of the country's major institutions.

Buhari / APC should thread softly and try to unravel this mysterious sacking all of a sudden.
