nwanne, dont mind that list dat guy is showing. i married and wedded last december in owerri. my wife's list was 2 pages of which i had no stress settling. my inlaws told me to give the kinsmen their list and take my wife home. so one can print anything in business centre and paste. i call this attension seeker. even if the list is true, is it for public consumption? has he gone to d parents and they turned him down? he is not mentally ripe for marriage.

Finally a reasonable reaction! I hope you know that the issue of late marriage of many igbo ladies is a prominent issue amongst the tribe. I wonder why many ladies should be denied their right to a happy life because of some repulsive tradition by people who are mostly after their stomach. I believe this among other reasons is what necessitated desperation of some otherwise hardworking people. (look at the ones that were recently killed in Indonesia). Marriage is timed, making money requires patience and endurance. These paths don't cross. Let's call a spade a spade.
