The High Court in Pretoria, South Africa ruled that a doctor could help sixty-five year old Robin Sransham-Ford end his life. His legal case had been opposed by the minister of health and justice as well as the body representing South African health workers. The campaign group, Dignity welcomed the ruling. Mr Sransham-Ford was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2013.
