RESOLUTION OF THE NEC’S MEETING OF THE MEGA PROGRESSIVE PEOPLES PARTY HELD ON THE 24TH APRIL, 2015, AT 12 NOON, IN THE PREMISES OF PARTY’S HEADQUARTERS, FHA, PHASE 1, FIRST AVENUE, HOUES 53, LUGBE, FCT. THE NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA, FCT.


After a critical examination of the tenure of office of Mr. Dare Falade as the National Chairman of our great party and according to the provisions of the constitution of the party and work Ethics of this personality resolved after due consideration of his actions namely:

I. That the chairman is absolutely running an exclusive Administration contrary to the terms and conditions of his Office. In other words, he always failed to carry along other relevant officers of the party in making decision that affects the party.


II. The chairman runs a non-responsive and to wit an absolutism regime.

III. Coupled with the financial impropriety to the extent that when an account is to be opened and operated for the party, he flagrantly refused, but rather decided to manage the party funds as if is his personal Estate.

IV. His attitude is that of concentration of powers rather than separation of powers as recognized by the CFRN 1999, and the party’s constitution respectively, he is fond of saying ‘who are you to suggest to me in terms of taking a decision about the running of the party’ he exclaimed to other national officers, a disrespect to the known norms of operation of an organization such as this. He is highly disrespectful to all members of the executive in the party, who voted him into power.

V. It is pertinent to note that the chairman on the 5th of March. 2015, in the Tribune News papers publication on page 9 and that of 10th, of March, 2015, respectfully in which he variously adopted the PDP candidate, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as the party’s candidate for the 28th March, 2015 Presidential election. Secondly, on the 10th of March, 2015 publication referred to second meeting has adopted the same person. However, both publications were a blatant falsehood. In the sense that neither any such NEC meeting nor adoption of GEJ as the party’s candidate.

VI. As if the anti-party decisions taken by the chairman were not enough a breach, the chairman went further to address a press conference to publish this antl-party position in the Tribune of 5th March and 10th March, 2015 to pursue his insatiable taste of disobedience and greed to rape us of our clean reputation as a dynamic and progressive people, interested in the unity and progress of our nation, Nigeria.

VII. Consequently, due to lack of accountability, Crass graft. Arrant disobedience to the constituted authorizes and constitution of Nigeria in terms of separation of powers and the flagrant violations of the party’s constitution, fraud and various abuses of office among other breaches, the Chairman is hereby suspended indefinitely.

In this connection, by the power conferred on the NEC by the Party’s CONSTITUTION, AS A MOVE TO SAVE OUR GREAT PARTY FROM RIDICULE AND EMBARRASSMENT FROM OUR NUMEROUS Supporters across the Country and from Our Several Reputable Officers.

In this respect Hon. Akanni Olayinka, who is hitherto National Treasurer is hereby appointed in the acting capacity as the National Chairman, pending the party’s National Convention to be convened soon.

The INEC and other organizations are hereby advised to stop dealing with him. Dare Falade as National Chairman of the MEGA PROGRESSIVE PEOPLES PARTY. Long live the federal republic of Nigeria long live the constitution long live the Mage progressive people’s party!!!
