The prayer was answered in my opinion.

Have you asked yourself what is the mind of God regarding boxing?
It is evil to keep 2 people in a cage and watch them inflicting injury or pain on one another . You may call it a sport but God may call evil. Many died in the boxing ring during or after the competition. That shows it is satanic.

It God had allowed him to win , he would love to continue participating in the satanic sport.

God knows what is best to us . If you pray wrong prayer you will get wrong answer. But by looking at it critically , you will see that God actually answered the prayer but in His way.
