Ministerial Nominees: APC Governors Submit Names by jchima14: 10:04am On May 05, 2015
The All Progressives Congress governors have began submittng names for ministerial slots in the incoming government. This follows the directive of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari to the governors to forward the names of three candidates each from their states. It was learnt that Buhari gave two conditions to be met by the candidates the governors will submit. One is that the candidate must be of proven integrity and technically competent and the other is that the person must show loyalty to the party.

A source said, by this directive, Buhari laid emphasis on the need to field names of those who had been with the party for long and not defectors. It was learnt that the President-elect also told the governors that he reserved the right to choose any name from those they will submit.
