The Worst Leader In The History Of Nigeria....no Doubt by ninjasta: 9:15am On May 08, 2015
Nigeria has had four elected presidents since independence whose individual achievements no matter how controversial they are, are far better and cannot be compared to that of President Goodluck Jonathan. Starting from Chief Benjamin Nnamdi Azikiwe (16th January 1966 – 1st October 1963), to Shehu shagari (1st October 1979 – 31st December 1983), then Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (29th May 1999 – 29th May 2007) and Umaru Musa Yar’Adua  (29th May – 5th May 2010).
President Goodluck Jonathan has been president for approximately five years. I would not say that for these years that he has done nothing. Saying that would mean exaggerating the scenario, but the truth is, his achievements do not in any way match up the weight of resources and strength within his disposal. Don’t be deceived by the recent fall in Brent crude oil price. His administration is the richest since independence yet the most under-achieved. Yes, assessments of the key sectors of national life under President Jonathan shows that the president has not in any way performed up to expectation.

It's better you log off from the internet to save you more embarrassment.

Did you experience those regimes or you heard, read or researched to even qualify to make assertion on issues above your thinking and analytical capacity?

People are on Nairaland to learn, do yourself a favour and stop being a nuisance.

Op and the gangs, its either you guys are too young to comprehend what good leadership is or you. Do not know the true meaning of 'worst' as a word. That's because if you do, you will know the the only past leaders that can be likened to GEJ in terms of achievements will be the likes of muritala mohammed, aguiyi ironsi and tafawa balewa. These guys were reformers, changing the statusquo ante. For starters are you saying that the likes of obasanjo, abacha, iBB etc did better than GEJ! Please let's cut the jokes and be more real!

@OP

The inept and 'accidental' President, who was always out of his depth, has only succeeded in bankrupting Nigeria. Tragic someone like this was pushed all the way to the Presidency by the likes of Obasanjo, Anenih and many self-serving 'godfathers'. Like or hate Tinubu but the reality is that he would never, not even for massive financial gains' promote and back a totally incompetent and completely clueless politician like GEJ to administer the affairs of Nigeria.

I said it last year that, come May 2015, GEJ will leave and be the last accidental President Nigeria will ever have. I have now been proven right. Buhari has set a new precedence now. He fought for over a decade to become President unlike OBJ who was handed the Presidency and Yar Adua who was virtually bullied into it by Obasanjo. We then ended up with GEJ, a very poor leader placed far above his station, who stumbled into the Presidency by an accident of fate.

In the future, post Buhari, it must now be about men who want to lead, have the history and character that show they can lead effectively and position themselves willing and passionately to be President. No more dullard imposition of 'unknown', unwilling and unprepared leaders on Nigeria as President because we now see that this can have terrible consequences for the future of millions. We must now have only those who want to lead, are ready to lead and have the innate qualities to lead well.

This post surely exposed the ignorance of the OP.

Blind argument and hasty generalization and conclusion. If at all you did your homework well before posting this, simple sense of judgement would have open you eyes to the truth. partisan aside.
