We do....but somehow we choose leaders who sabotage efforts to make things better.

A picture of the driver of the ambulance buying from the black-marketer would have been more appropriate.

Extremely funny that we suffer despite having this commodity at our backyard. Shame on the leaders of this country.

Someone once asked where all them black marketers get their fuel from?

While stations are empty.....black marketer has the fuel in abundance.

Of course....we know the reason why.

Under subsidy....it is not profitable to sell fuel at N87(landing fees...N114)....so better hand over some of the fuel to the ''boys'' for some stuff....

(And thanks to oil dropping to below $66 per barrel....we may no longer have the kudi to subsidize fuel....especially when we need oil to be $123 per barrel to meet our financial obligations. And who thot subsidizing IMPORTED fuel was a good idea? ).

Subsidy must go....or we build more refineries....and make the existing ones work.Meanwhile....if the General needs to take a loan to keep up the railways revival....so be it. Yes, he wisely did not do Lagos metro back in 1984 because we really could not afford it....but now that fuel prices are shooting up.....mass public transport may need some booster spending.

That bus (not convinced it's an ambulance) doesn't look like it's buying fuel. It looks like it's in a hold-up.
OP,what shall it profit you to paint your country in bad light just to have comments on your topic.
And all the myopic posters above me who were quick to castigate this country base on this inconclusive picture can please try somewhere else, maybe Syria.
GOOD BLESS NIGERIA.

That vehicle is in motion on the speed lane. The man pictured is on his own and not the Ambulance driver. I can't see any triangular sign behind to show that it was parked. People should stop posting falsehood here to attract attention. Yes, there is fuel scarcity in some cities but hey, there is no scarcity of knowledge and wisdom here.

You must be speaking in your own terms.

But anyways with the new leaders coming in we hope things will get better.

But what exactly is the government saying concerning this fuel scarcity.

They can't just keep mute while the citizens are suffering due to non availability of pms

The ambulance pictured above was reportedly heading for an emergency when it ran out of fuel and the driver had to stop to buy fuel from black market.

What is gej about this.why didnt the hospital ensure that enough fuel was inside the fuel tank.please dont blame gej.we are all going through this because of the wicked cartel in the oil industry some of who are already leaking buhar's feet .The driver should be questioned. Did he tell the management about the fuel issue and was ignored or did he do that on purpose.

Re: Ambulance On An Emergency Runs Out Of Fuel (see Photo) by papaejima1: 1:05pm On May 10, 2015
Everyone seems to blame the Govt, but no one is blaming the driver that took off without ensuring there was enough petrol in the car.
No one is blaming the last driver who parked the car and didn't report it low on fuel.
No one is blaming the mgt for deploying an emergency vehicle without petrol even if bought from the black market.

Oh yes, in Nigeria we don't take responsibilities for our actions, we must shift the blame on someone else.

Bunch of confused entities with misplaced priorities.
