RONALDO DEPARTURE RUMORS GETTING STRONGER
Reports from Daily Star, says that the current World Footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of the Bernabeu and that could lead MANCHESTER UNITED to launch a spectacular swoop to re-sign the star.

Former Madrid keeper Agustin Rodriguez believes Ronaldo will definitely leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, as will goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

GUADRIOLA’S RUN MIGHT END SOONER
Guardiola’s arrival two years ago was supposed to herald another great European era for Bayern Munich after their 2013 treble. They had reached the Champions League final in 2010, 2012 and 2013 before signing him.

The 44-year-old has so far failed to take the side beyond the semi-final stage in his two seasons in charge, Tuesday’s 3-2 win not enough to give them a place in next month’s final. Guardiola has received the full backing of the Bayern board from the very start. He was even described as an exceptional coach after they lost to Leverkusen in the league, crashed out of the German Cup, went down 3-0 to Barcelona and were beaten by Augsburg in the league last week to round off their first four-game losing streak since 1991.

Guardiola won 14 titles in four seasons at Barcelona, including two Champions Leagues, but Bayern’s 5-3 loss on aggregate to the Spaniards has proved to everyone in Munich that he is no magician. Critics may not be an issue for him but with one year left on his contract and no talks yet on an extension Guardiola will need to review his options.

The squad is in need of a revamp with several of the players who carried the team to the three finals in four seasons now in the twilight of their careers. Bastian Schweinsteiger, Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben and captain Philipp Lahm are all 30 or older, with Xabi Alonso, who joined this season, also in the 30-something age group.

ARSENAL SET FOR THE OLD LADIES TALISMAN
Arsenal could be set to head to Italy as they shop around for a new striker. After the goalless outing against Swansea the Gunners’ need for a new front man appear more pressing than ever. Tuttosport suggest that Juventus’ Fernando Llorente could be that man with the Old Lady’s forward coffers stacked, ahead of the expected arrival of Paulo Dybala.

They suggest that Tottenham and Valencia are also interested in the Spanish targetman with a bid of around £7m likely to be enough to prise him away.
CECH IN TALKS WITH BESIKTAS
As reported by ESPN, Chelsea out of favor goalkeeper “Petr Cech” Having lost his place in the first team to Belgian youngster Thibaut Courois, could be on his way out of chelsea at the end of the season, with Besiktas as the favourite destination point.

Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Liverpool have also been linked with the veteran Czech international.

MOURINHO SET SIGHT ON GREEN
According to report the English premier League champion, are preparing for life without Petr Cech. Jose Mourinho is ready to launch a £2 million bid to bring Robert Green to Stamford Bridge.

QPR are back in the Championship, at best, next season but they could lose their No 1 keeper to Chelsea

CHELSEA, MAN UTD AT LOGGERHEAD OVER THE BELGIAN
The Mirror claims Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Roma are all prepared to bid up to £30 million for the Belgian striker. With Jose Mourinho preferring to play with a single striker behind his deadly attacking midfielders and needing reliable back-up to Diego Costa, why wouldn’t he move for Christian Benteke?

He can hold up the ball, he can score goals, he is good in the air and is quick and powerful. There’s not much for Jose not to like. The Mirror claims Christian Benteke will decide his future in June after playing Belgium’s end-of-season internationals, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Roma weighing up bids.

Benteke has hit form once more since the arrival of Tim Sherwood as Villa boss.
