It was an unfortunate day for a Toyota Camry driver as he rammed into a Danfo bus driver from behind in a fatal accident at Third Mainland bridge,Lagos.

The tragedy occurred few hours ago.According to an eyewitness,the Danfo bus almost fall into the water.There were casualties but the today number could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report as members of the Nigerian army took over the condition.The incident caused a traffic jam along the bridge

do you understand the word fatal? It is an incident where someone dies. regardless of how many people were in that vehicle, if a single life is lost, then it is a fatal accident. So if anyone died in this accident, then my friend it was fatal. UNDERSTAND?

This op obviously doesn't know the meaning of 'fatal accident'. And those saying 'rest in peace to the dead', there was no confirmation of anyone dying. Its like that phrase 'rest in peace to the dead' is becoming too common on this forum and people are too quick to use it. Yes it was an accident but I don't think anyone could die in this. We all need to be careful and prayerful when on the road.

This was no fender bender, but a very serious accident. Most people here are making light of this because they've probably never been in accident or ridden a danfo before. The complete lack of safety devices inside that bus means that a lot of people could have died in this crash.

Take another look at the magnitude of the danfo's impact on that rampart. Concrete does not yield!

I'm amazed that Lagos state has not done everything within its power to replace those horrible yellow buses (and the old cabs) with more reliable public transportation (and operators).
