Obama must act now or never. Baghdad is the capital of Iraq. As it stands now, ISIS fighters are 60 miles away from Baghdad, and reports have it that they might wage a full foe war soon.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
After slaughtering 500 people in the city of Ramadi, ISIS could use its proximity to Baghdad to wage 'all-out war' with the Shi'ite fighters in the Iraqi capital, experts have told MailOnline.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
ISIS has effectively surrounded Baghdad by taking control of Fallujah which is on its 'doorstep' and is currently battling security forces in cities such as Samarra (left) to Baghdad's north. The crushing defeat in Ramadi sent Iraqi forces fleeing despite the support of US-led airstrikes targeting the extremists.

Libya used to be one of the most prosperous countries in Aftica. Today it is a waste land completely torn apart by terrorist groups no thanks to Western imperialism.

I do not think it is a bush thing, it is more of an American Policy thing. Do not forget they did all that was possible to remove Fidel Castro, none of which was done by Bush. Bush was just following the legacy, poor Iraq who were leaving a comfortable life are now the worse for it. Now refugees.

Sure with the results in Iraq and Lybia, United States should start minding their business. Using ego to fight down a leader does not benefit anybody. Allow them be once they are not committing crimes against humanity..

That is the divide and rule tactics the US used to conquer the world and it's all coming back to her. They armed Gamel abd Naseer to stop the spread of communism in Egypt who later overthrew King Farouk. They supported Shah in Iran who overthrew the hardline Islamists. Ghadaffi was a good man to them during the Libyan revolution. They armed Bin Landen during the Soviet advancement in Afghanistan. They instigated minorities against Sadam, Ghadaffi, Hosni Mubarak and now Assad.

They call them tyrants, pushed them out of circulation and install puppets to rule their new found vassal territories. In the end, these puppets wise up and turn against their one time benefactor. If ISIS became anything today, it was the US that armed them in order to fight Assad. The same US are nowing arming Iraqi shias to fight the sunnis they armed to fight another shia government in syria.

What kind of person does that ? A greedy one that wants to maintain her policy of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries !

Bush was the one who declared "it is either you are for us or against us" in reference to the planned invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. UN turned down the proposal and Bush decided to trudge ahead with his NATO friends. It was really Bush's war and not America's. Even Powell was somewhat against it.

So true. I remember Assad warning Europe that they will regret their part, I only saw it as their citizens going to join the war, I did not envisage this monster that the world created herself just because the face of a particular rulers is not liked.

If you do not like the particular ruler, break diplomatic ties with that country. No one lives forever, if he does not leave naturally, nature will one day see to it that he leave the office and lives the earth.

Syria's Bashar al-Assad warns Europe to 'pay price' for arming rebels

The Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has warned that Europe "will pay the price" if it arms the rebellion against his regime.
In an interview with a German newspaper, he said that arming the insurgents would strengthen terrorism in "Europe's backyard" and lead to chaos and poverty in Syria.

Speaking to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Mr Assad warned that lifting the arms embargo would also lead to "the direct export of terrorism to Europe."

He said: "Terrorists will train for combat and return home equipped with extremist ideology. For Europe, there is no alternative to cooperation with the Syrian government, even if Europe doesn't like it."

The US announced last week that it would supply direct military aid to the rebels, after the Obama administration concluded that Syrian government forces were using chemical weapons.

Mr Assad insisted that it was "terrorists" who had used chemical weapons in Syria. "Everything that is said about the use of chemical weapons is a continuation of the lies about Syria. It is an attempt to justify more military intervention."

I get the point you are trying to make. Bush takes responsibility for the actual act, but the fact remains that if America did not have that kind of policy and history, he would not have been able to pull it through. For example, it is against Switzerland's policy to interfere in crisis outside their shores, so no matter how high a particular president is, he will not be able to pull it through, that is the point I am making.

Then let the resistant come from the oppressed not from another vested interest. Also, I will prefer a restricted estate where my safety is better guaranteed than an open market where apart from pick pockets, hoodlums can shoot me at will. Moreover, Iraqis were not in any form of slavery

America survives on war not just for the economic gains but it help her to further her expansionism and influence. That selfishness brings nothing but instability and insecurity to the world which Almighty America care less about since the war can't get to her shore.

Right now, if I have to choose between Libya and North Korea, or Between Iraq and North Korea, then yes. its important that things are put is perspective. Singapore is a strict nation, so is China but they have their reasons why they prefer that approach and their people are better off for it on the long run. Iraq is a very bad example for you to use as a rallying point for world security.

My point exactly. Dictators only remove those who are seen as threat to their powers. The ordinary citizens are allowed to live their lives peacefully, now majority of those who felt oppressed under Saddam must either be dead right now, incapacitated or at best refugees.

Almost all weapons used by Boko Haram comes from the trans Saharan route from Libya.

The crisis in Syria was a lunchpad for the brotherhood to form ISIS under the cover of opposition democracy movement.
The Syrian government at different foras repeatedly warned that most of the so called democracy groups were actualy terrorist. No one cared to listen especialy the West.
Today we have ISIS not only Syria but Irag, Libya and possibly Mali.

It is Ironic that as soon as the US completed their mission and left Iraq, ISIS sprangout of the blue, overunning the same Iraqi armies the US military claimed were properly trained to protect the country. As expected the world media choose to be oblivious about that sad reality.

I still can't fathom why Americans and Europe rose against Assad. The consequence of arming rebels is that terrorists take advantage to kill and maim in order to build empire. The world is talking about anti-terrorism yet it continues to support Islamists terrorists in Syria after the ISIS damage.

Death to terrorists and to this bastard @pix

Looking at the convoy on the first and second pictures it just makes me wonder which Targets the Coalition has attacking, because you can't seriously tell me that large Convoy like that could not be seen by those Sophisticated Western jets in broad daylight even. That convoy shouldve been a feast for all of those jets, I'm starting to think that they're being aloud to capture all of that territory.
