Its surely not a crocodile It is called alligator, yoruba call it awonriwon or anta Av eaten it several times even wen i was serving in bayelsa state. Na yummy delicacy |

Thats Iguana. Its edible in most parts of Nigeria but not in some parts of Delta state. Its like a diety there. |

It is neither an Alligator (native only to America and China) nor an Iguana. It is most likely a Monitor Lizard (they sometimes can be caught in swampy parts of Lagos sef, lik Festac in the old days when it wasn't so built up). 2 Likes |
