Gunmen Attack Beer Palour In Benue, Kill Five, Injure Others by olillywales(m): 11:06am On May 21, 2015
Suspected gunmen on Tuesday evening killed five people, while four others were in critical condition after an attack on a beer parlour in Jooter, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue state.
It was gathered that the gunmen, numbering more than 10, who drove in with a Toyota car, opened fire indiscriminately on the people at the drinking joint.
The Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Austin Ezeani, confirmed the report, saying three people were killed and five critically injured According to him, the Police were on the trail of the gunmen while investigation continued into the matter.
