The real reason why fuel scarcity persist is due what any business man or woman will call business strategy. The present govt is paying subsidy piecemeal after investigation that delays. The in coming govt has remained an opposition to the payment of subsidy. At many for a the president elect has tagged subsidy a ruse and an avenue to steal money. Now the importers are awaiting this new govt and are not sure the subsidy payment will continue. The piecemeal money from present govt equates the piecemeal fuel being imported .Marketer will not import more because price will change if new govt stops subsidy payment, therefore Nigerians are bound to experience fuel shortage. I bet you, if new govt is sworn in and continues full payment of subsidy, then the situation will improve. I the govt stops payment, then fuel supply can improve but Nigerians will pay more eg N140-150 per liter. We are already buying the fuel at that price now. It could even be a govt strategy to make Nigerians experience this situation so that the call for subsidy removal will come from Nigerians themselves
