bettercreature: Your hero worshiping of this biggest scam Buhari will disappoint you. Buhari's second coming will be more disastrous for Nigeria than his first. It won't be democracy alone that will suffer but the country's very existence BTW why are you Yoruba taking Buhari's emergence as an excuse to pillage another man's resource For whatever evil you wish for stour region will rip in a hundred folds. You people are truly the problem of Nigeria 2 Likes |

EbubeOnoh: You are very wrong. About 2 to 3: years ago, this same gej told you we must remove subsidy. But you and your fake change crooners stood against him. Now, you can all see the result of your decision. If the subsidy had been removed as gej proposed, you and I wouldn't be in this situation. Stop being biased for once and try to be objective. 3 Likes |

wadetaw202: You guys should please give it a rest with your GEJ "told you this " Instead of tackling the fake subsidy, GEJ simply wanted to shift the burden of the fake subsidy from government unto the masses. That is shift the burden of corruption of PDP government of political patronage to government and government's cronies from government to people. Instead of collecting that money from government coffers, they now wanted to be collecting it directly from the masses. For instance, the NNPC could have started importing fuel directly. Contracting importation to middle men is a needless nonsense, and the only reason for political patronage. Then we are not suffering from amnesia. Subsidy was just about 250 - 300 billion per year before it suddenly magically ballooned to almost 1.3 trillion naira during GEJ's election year. Another question is: how did Nigeria ever arrived at a structure in which just few oil marketers can hold the whole nation to ransom? Anyway, under Buhari, I'm sure we will do away with the marketers eventually because Nigeria/NNPC it's more than capable of importing fuel for itself. 1 Like |

Ezenwammadu: Nonsense. GEJ removed part of the subsidy and said the money saved will be used for capital projects nationwide under SURE-P. Now tell me what exactly has SURE-P done since then? If the entire subsidy had been removed we would still be in this same mess as long as GEJ was still there. 1 Like |

The bitter truth is that subsidy is a big scam and I think it should be removed, that would encourage private investors to build and operate refineries in Nigeria. This importation is senseless! 1 Like |
