These ekiti APC lawmakers should convene on 27th or 28th and impeach fayose. They have nothing to lose. All of them are not coming back to the assembly after May 29 anyway.

There are many lazy readers on nairaland. Some that managed to read did not fully understand. The lawmakers' tenure is not expiring on may 29. Imagine if the new government removes the hoodlums from the assembly and the IG provides escorts for the 19 lawmakers on June 1st to resume their duty. A lot could happen within five days. Ondo deputy governor was removed within 24 hours.

If you are impeached from office b4 u can re- contest again it has to be after 10yrs,but in fayose case is not so,so someone can still challenge him in the court as per that,if he survive the lawmakers,a lot of issue is pending but I pray he finish his tenure

I see these lawmakers of Ekiti as cowards of the highest order. Imagine a state terrorized by the governor against the 19 APC legislators and the lawmakers finds it difficult to impeach him. What a shame to these legislators. After all the governor has just 7 members of PDP as legislators against 19 APC then what stops the lawmakers from removing him?
