When you use age as a criteria for no valid reason, you end up forcing some people to lie. God pls help me i don't want to be like this

a lot of you guys are confused about the rules. you can serve at age 100. the rule says you must be a graduate before the age of 30.

if you graduate at 21 & you decide to serve at age 120, you would be allowed to serve as long as you are up for it.

i hope this clears it up for you.

Yes you're right. People don't know that tho. Especially those who haven't pass through the scheme.

But this doesn't look real tho

It's not any photoshops cos during my service year, we have ppl as old as this man too. Most of them were ghost corpers, working somewhere yet receiving allowee without serving with us.

If truly the man is old, m happy he achieved his aim. Most people on this forum have parents that have not seen the four walls of a school talk less of wearing that khaki.

A woman served in 2009 and in 2011 her first daughter served. I wonder why people are so keen in wasting a whole year in a useless program like NYSC even when they are disqualified by the law

One if the following is your case:
1- You haven't served or cannot serve
2- You have served but you made that one year fruitless by getting nothing out of it.
3- You want to serve but you are nit qualified.

So, everything is special about the Khaki.... God bless Gowon and the brains sustaining the scheme.

Well from my little experience the man may be vying for a political post e.g minister, commissioner. But surely na all these abroad returnees.

Re: Photo: Naija's Oldest Corp Member-2015 by othenok(f): 10:39pm On May 26, 2015
NYSC is all about the age you graduated with. I know this cos my sister that travelled to the US after her university education without going for her service was forced to come back and serve when she was 40. She needed to do her service to be able to work here in Nigeria. So can still serve at 100years so long as you graduated before 30.

that man used to be my state coordinator while I was serving in ebonyi state and he is used to dress like fellow corpers while in camp . I think any copper in ebonyi in 2012/2013 batch can attest to this ..

I can only deduce that you have no plans for your future. I'm already feeling the pains of wasting a whole year for a fruitless thing like NYSC even though I am still in the final year. The thought of that is really having a toll on my plans.
