Why Political Leaders Fail To Protect The Interest Of Their Followers by Morhziez(m): 3:51pm On May 27, 2015 |
Who is a leader?? A leaders is one who leads others to achieve a common goal. Him or She influences, plan, direct, supervices and harmonize them to accomplish their goal. True Leadership requires sacrifice, responsibility and service to humanity and selflessness but unfortunately, many leaders fail in their responsibility due to some of the following reasons : 1.Selfishness that make them think of themselves and their families alone. 2.Seeing political offices as a way out of poverty. 3.Societal/family interest to siphon public money. 4.Corruption and bribery through which they loot public treasury. 5.Greed or excessive desires for wants and not necessary needs. 6 . Yielding to the interest of their political parties and godfathers to the detriment of the electorates and masses who voted them in. 7.Political bias of our leaders against areas where bulk of their opposition reside. 8.Lack of focus about any clear cut programe.
