Having listen to the speech of Mr president concerning the amensty programme , I can't help but think about the consequences of not renewing this program without proper measures in place to keep these militants at bay.

The truth is that oil well owners( mostly hausas) are the same as these militants , so instead of clamouring for their own oil blocks, they hold onto amnesty and some of these militants even have waterways contracts to protect these oil blocks.
Now not renewing the amnesty and these waterways contract will raise an eyebrow. Believe me whether the president sends the command center to that area or not the new administration will suffer.
The best the president will do is to shun political difference and make GEJ a friend since its obvious he commands respect in that region, with him u find a balance to make the boys calm with other alternatives , he did it with yaradua .
