I want to start this piece by heartily congratulating our amiable president, President Muhammadu Buhari on his historic inauguration. Now that God has brought us this far, we must settle for serious business without any form of excuse or delay. One of the most common commitments you made to us during your campaign days is public declaration of your assets, and it is inexcusable to begin to give any reason, no matter how logical it seems.

It is understandable you cannot eliminate corruption overnight, likewise power issue, unemployment, insecurity and most of the other challenges of Nigeria, but to begin to give excuses or reasons for not publicly declaring your assets which of course is within your immediate control may immediately send the wrong signal on your readiness to truly pursue your campaign promises and I will urge you Sir, to please do the needful without being pressed to do so. EXCESSIVE PLEA FOR PATIENCE IS ONE PLEASURE NIGERIANS LACK FOR NOW. God be with you
