PDP And Her Reprehensible Amnesia by omenka(m): 8:42am On Jun 10, 2015 |
Good Morning ladies and gentlemen. This thread is created to draw back our attention to what used to be PDP's notion of the person of President Mohamadu Buhari and how they continuously try to force their opinions, most often lies, down our throats, even when the truth stands tall, distinctive and visible- like the Eiffel Tower. Okay, there's a thread trending on the politics board that reads- "Tinubu's political career is over" ( see www.nairaland.com/2369230/tinubus-political-career-over-bode ). Here's an excerpt of what Bode George said: “If he cannot see this now, then it will be foolish of him. He brought in the APC national Boy George, as he is fondly called, is a very high ranking PDP leader and promotes the "ideals" and ideas of the party. When he speaks it is assumed his utterances are the positions taken by the party. And so far, he's not been countered on this. The party is apparently ecstatic about Tinubu's loss at the just concluded NASS elections, saying he's not been "cut to size" at the national level and same fate might befall him even in Lagos. Now, here was PDP a couple of months ago: "A Vote For Buhari is a Vote for Tinubu", avowing that Buhari is Tinubu's puppet (see www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/173253-vote-buhari-vote-tinubu-pdp.html). Here's an excerpt from Olisa Metuh's press release: The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Sunday said the APC Presidential candidate, General Buhari is merely a front for Alhaji Tinubu to whom he has already surrendered his powers and first And Tinubu replied thus: ....Tinubu noted that Buhari can never be a stooge to anyone. “A man of such principle and leadership presence cannot ever be a puppet. Those who claim he is a puppet do grave insult to an outstanding patriot and millions of Nigerians who support him.” Now, what defence would PDP as a party have for such distasteful and shameful distortion of facts, which was, is, and will be- Buhari is his own man! Not only has Tinubu's influence been reduced, he has a murder case against him re-opened in court and would possibly be facing charges soon. But PDP wanted us to believe Buhari is a stooge that would be whipped again and again to do Tinubu's bidding. But just like the other innumerable lies fabricated, assembled and launched into the Nigerian politicosphare from Wadata Plaza against the President, this one has also been shot down by the missile of providence. This is a call to all who care to listen and have the interest of the country at heart to be wary of every single statement made by the PDP especially as they relate to the president. PDP has but only one objective since it was founded- retention and consolidation of power- nothing more, nothing less. So help us God. Long live Nigeria. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

With all the political permutation and calculation going round the two camps, all I can see is greed and selfishness. My need as a Nigerian is good governance and a proactive leadership. Anybody can be whatever in the political equation. E no concern me as long as the person performs. 1 Like 1 Share |

Exactly the lengthy comment I made on the thread of PDP's reaction to the NASS elections. I said and I'll repeat, "PDP's only agenda for the next four years is without mincing words, how to grab power back from the APC " If anybody still thinks in this present day Nigeria, that they(PDP) would provide a healthy opposition which is a pre-requisite for good governance in a democratic society, then that person must be on a long thing. 3 Likes |

omenka:In the last 16yrs, PDP was in charge at the top with no strong opposition which was exactly what killed democracy in Nigeria. The emergence of APC in 2013 as a credible opposition was a nightmare to the party PDP. And being their first time being faced with strong opposition, pdp lacked points to counter APC, hence, their reason for attacking persons. Without warning, pdp became the opposition. Now tell me, a party that didn't survive the existence of an opposition, now made the opposition, you don't expect anything new do you? Expect pdp to hail Buhari in the coming days and attack Tinubu. Until they learn to play opposition, pdp will continue eating up their campaign attacks. 7 Likes |

This thread is a stern rebuke on PDP politics of bad belle and idiocy. always running after revenge their wisdom. While APC politics is guided by lofty ideals, what happened yesterday mimicks the story of the Impotent Man, His Wife belle and His best friend it goes an Impotent man begs his best friend to impregnate his wife, . . ., the product of the tangle will always be a reminder to the impotent mans inability to perform and his source of joy will ironically remains his biggest pain! 1 Like |

Omenka, You are dealing with a section of the country who have allowed hatred for other tribes be cloud their sense of reasoning! Yesterday, they lampooned, castigated and abused Saraki and the "Northern" Oligarchy but today because they saw a tiny vein and temporary loss of chess game to Southwest in the political calculation, the Same "Gambari" are now their Love and Partner, just to have a go against The West for going against their moronic ex President! Just like I said in one of your threads, what happened yesterday, was just an elementary act of betrayal and treachery, which any dumb and Clueless person can pull off! Any wonder all the PDP members in both chambers obeyed their Party's Directive to vote enblock against any Candidate of APC, But APC' s Own Directive for his members to vote along a particular line was Termed and Imposition?? and Some naive APC supporters couldn't even see this! Talk of Hypocrisy! So no matter how they spin it to suit their anger against Tinubu or APC, the Fact remains that Party Indiscpline carried the day! And nothing else! Nice write up though! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Firefire: As Omeka stated, you have a very short-term memory (Amnesia) or chose to delude yourself. What your celebration of APC's victory in the National Assembly and the gallantry dispositions of President Buhari is a flip-flop of your stands just before yesterday. The outcome of yesterday is a victory for democracy and a big plus to the APC administration of President Buhari. Next is Cabinet - and this is Dance which tone and tempo is set by Buhari and his APC team. Sai Buhari. God bless Nigeria. It is forward movement and no more the madness of PDP. 3 Likes |

This omenka that wants to be a barcanista but his thread sucks and reeks of hypocrisy and pains garnered from yesterday's loss of his paymaster. A source from the APC camp said most of the paid janjaweedians were scolded by their media people for allowing barcanista to be the driver in politics section while the 40k paid APC hacks played catch up. Watch out for more threads from omenka and Gbawe to soothe the anger of their paymasters. 9 Likes 3 Shares |

In their quest to retain power, pdp will feed us with a lot of lies. But to be frank, I never expected less from them. They should keep looking for things to make them feel better. But whether they like it or not, Buhari, saraki and dongara are in the Apc. Until that changes, their points are useless and volatile. I'm still battling to understand your logic. This thread is no different from the one you started yesterday. Are you hearing of the word PROPAGANDA for the first time? Are you insinuating that APC has not told lies about PDP in the past? Is there any certified medical record of Jonathan being clueless or daft as the APC christened him with? Whatever the PDP is doing today was borrowed from the APC past. You taught us well indeed. My advice to you is that you should live with the realities of today and stop whining about. It's really nauseating. 5 Likes |

PDP still has a strong presence in that house with the Deputy Senate president and also there are still a lot of APC members that will want to be free from Bourdillon control. Firefire:@Bold: You really need to grow up. Now, after this lie has been proven to be what is is- a lie-, back to fabricating more audacious lies PDP would resort, right?? First, it was Clerk swallowing his own words, expressing confidence in the ability of Buhari to lead the country on a right path after he had said the direct opposite just a couple of months earlier. It is just a thing with PDP isn't it? Anyone who does it must either be in PDP or in PDP when they did. Doesn't that make you feel ashamed of your political pathfinders?? 2 Likes |
