They are indeed end time things.... Canada & USA now require taxation of worldwide income so if you live in USA but have assets in UK, Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria, the USA IRS requires you to pay tax on those even though it has nothing to do with the USA!

An official African lingua franca - Swahili perhaps - will likely be adopted somewhere down the line.
