What I noticed with d swearing-in was even d disgruntled Senators had to be duty- bound by stand-up from their seats, walk towards d Senate President in order to signify their presence in d hallowed chambers by presenting their certificate of returns to Bukola Saraki. Who in turn welcomed them with a broad triumphant smile and a hand shake.

On d other hand our number 2 man has been sidelined twice for the security meeting. And I doUbt if he would be visited by high powered dignitries like d British Ambassador. They will rather visit his principal than visit him.

Is our number 2 man really a sheep in a wolf clothing and just a " mere commisioner " .

I think Osinbanjo is bit lonely at d moment. PMB should in a matter of urgency appoint his ministers & special advisers that will at least take d heat off Osinbajo. The new appointed political actors would absorb some of that heat and Nigerians sooner rather later will forget they have a VP.

VP Yemi Osinbajo has been more relevant at his post in twelve days, than VP Namadi Sambo was in five years.

Anything deputy or Assisstant is just like a spare tyre so this is not about Yemi or Saraki, it is about the functions given to them by the constitution.

Yemi is a very good politician. His name ring more bell than anybody during campaign but his viability now as VP depends largely on the President.
