The quicker an open sore is taken care of the less chance of it going gangrene. What happened has happened, leaving acrimony to fester will only do more harm than good, so its expected & applauded. The TANoids & "Co LAND owners" will be very saddened by this turn of events... Not going according to their APC implosion wishes.. Nigeria will not only survive, it will THRIVE. 22 Likes 1 Share |

It appears these days that the defeated come out stronger if he can quickly concede defeat and be smart enough to tow the line of Peace...... Ref: GEJ PDP But would this story be a good news for PDP? 1 Like |

modath:they will soon resume crying again. They taught they were going to have a tambuwal. Am glad all these happened early so that APC will know not to play too much of leadership without politicking against the enemy which is on their throats. modath:Just what exactly has the Tanoids got to do with this? If PDP really wanted to control the upper chamber, I hope you know or perhaps someone would have told you that they had every opportunity to do so. They decided to leave governance for the power thirsty Apc so that they can perform their magic. It was good they made peace if this story is true. One thing has been established and that is the independence of the senate. Saraki has joined the league of "I belong to nobody...." 6 Likes 1 Share |

Saraki and Dogara might have had their ways against the APC anointed candidates today but that in no means downplay the political sagacity of the crops of leadership in APC. This matter will be resolved and governance will continue unhindered. Saraki and Dogara are laughing today but have to be on guard as the power that be may get at them tomorrow. Expecially Saraki, he has shown himself as a power hungry soul who can sacrifice anything to clinch power when he lobbied his former party members in exchange for deputy position. The first law of politics as well as fundamental human survival is don't play if you don't know the game. I hope Saraki knows his game lest he disappear into political oblivion. It has happened in the past and can happen again. 4 Likes |

frankyychiji: Bwaaahhhaahha... You wish!!! So you people actually believed the lies your senior goats have been spewing? Why didn't they try it, if they were so sure it could be stood.... They knew better than to push their luck beyond the DSP, they would never use cobras as necklaces or ground pepper as face powder! |

Which peace meeting is Saraki calling, when he is the mastermind of the whole shenanigan in the senate. Is that meant to hoodwink the party leadership to let him off his quite abominable treachery against the party he rode at it's back to become a senator. It is yet to be seen how effectively he will handle the knock on effective his sins will have on his new role. Irrespective of the peace talk, Saraki's disloyalty will hunt his political ambition in the future. It will be difficult for him to get into any position bigger than that of a a senate president. Nobody will ever trust him again. If he has done this anticipating that he would become Nigeria's president in the future, he should forget it. His character will be very very difficult to sell to a good number of Nigerians unless he waits for a time when the kids of today grow up to voting age - again who says their parents won't tell them the character of the man named 'Saraki'. A man that sold his father because of political power, a man that sided with his political enemies just to achieve Senate Presidency. I have nothing against what happened in the House of Representatives -afterall election was duely held with all members in attendance without any offer of unholy alliance with the opposition unlike what Saraki did in the Senate. A word they say is enough for the Wise. I rest my case. 3 Likes |

I knew this would be their decision. It's good they learnt from PDP's mistake, if they'd done otherwise, I'd have been disappointed in them. Time indeed heals all wounds. Saraki just paused his own political career. 2 Likes |
