Mumu, the FG already owns all lands in the South. Any amendment of the Land Act can only transfer some indigenous rights back to the Southern land owners.

the federal govt does not own all the land in nigeria. the federal govt only own abuja. if the federal govt own all the land, why do you think yar adua want the land act amended.

the state own the land in nigeria. check the land act before making statement. and the national assembly can not amend the constitution without a constitution review. you people should read your constitution.

and we the yorubas would not support yar adua amendment of the land act. we still want the ownership to be in the hands of the state and not the federal govt. we trust our people more than the northerner.

if you know nigeria history. you would know what yar adua is about to do is what really usman dan fodia try to do really,  he wanted to claim all land for the north.

if you give the north the power to control the land. the south is slave for ever.

another thing you people, do not know is that the constitution of nigeria is an invalid constitution. I have prove it the other time , under international agreement.

And the 1960 constitution which britain gave us. we have the right to leave nigeria.  Please you people should read the constitution. The agreement the Yorubas have with Nigeria and the only agree state we are allow to seceded from nigeria.
