Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo survived car crash en route his home on Saturday night from Ikeja after attending a function.

The Watford striker who came out of the car unhurt however thanked God for saving the life of everybody in the car.

Ighalo explained to Completesportsnigeria.com exclusively on Sunday that a wreckless driver who took to a one way lane hit his car and and absconded.

“A (danfo) came out from a one way lane and hit my car and took to his heels.
Thank God no lives were lost,” Ighalo said.

Ighalo who attended a thanksgiving service in his Church on Sunday also donated alms.

“I’m thanking God for my life and I give all glory to God for his protection,” the Watford striker who netted 20 times for club has been linked with Norwich, West Brom and Swanse City.
