I got a mediatek D101 tablet and I have used almost all root application known to me but it just won't root it.. Why is this so? Over to the phone gurus.

Funny question to ask .. what does rooting mean?

were you able to remove that their Chinese app from your phone? It always unroot my phone once I remove it.

the app is nothing but shit.

it shows rooted. but the phone is not rooted.

The thing about rooting is that most of the codes runs on specific hardware. So whenever u want to buy a device make sure its a popular one and rooting solutions are already available. Most of these rooting application just needs to be adapted to ur device and gbam buh we don't have good programmers here so ur on an island.
