Then you must have been high on ogogoro as usual when Buhari insisted he would not interfere with the judiciary.

This Jonathan-era weakness in the Efcc Prosecution teams needs to be weeded out, and you will see that change shortly when the revamped, revitalized EFCC kicks off operations.

Only few people actually knows these facts. He knew intercontinental bank and oceanic bank were juicy and strong asset base he pound on them. And also he did so many youth bad reason being that those are the two banks that treats HND holders as BSC holders, no cheating at all... They were all equal.. Sanyasi achieved his mission of witch hunt though.

From what I heard, Akingbola never supported him being the CBN governor, hence the downfall of intercontinental.

May God help us in this country sha. Niger will be great again..

JKisOK:

The Judge must have found that the case lacked merit, more like witch-hunting. This is because, long before he was announced as CBN Governor, Vanguard publication of 23rd March 2009 wrote an expose. A section of the country had plotted the appointment of a new CBN Gov who would change the bank-ownership balance in the country. Only the simple-minded and undiscerning got carried away with all that happened under Sanusi Lamido. The bankers were no angels, no. But Sanusi was on a mission to wipe out SS/SE/SW-ownership banks and hand some of them to his Northern cronies and paymasters. He succeeded. While he played to the gallery with the mob arrest and prosecution of these bankers, he and his cohorts actually laughed secretly, taking over the juiciest of these banks, e.g. Intercontinental and Oceanic. Poor, kobo-kobo shareholders were made the sacrificial lambs, the real losers. Sanusi abused his office as CBN Governor. Just that until he became a direct victim, President Goodluck Jonathan was slow giving the boot to the derriere of our Most Confused/Bigoted/ Prejudiced/Tribalistic/Sharia-Minded CBN Governor.

I am not surprise! Na there way. if this same man is to be tried in Cotonou, he be guilty as charge.
Re: N25.7bn Fraud: Court Frees Francis Atuche by olaBanks(m): 7:27am On Jun 23, 2015
False, the bank chief may be guity as charged! But fundamental problems of EFCC are that, it is partially a state mechanism of witch hunt and the lack of proper prosecution of case by. You still remember how festus Kiyamo lost a fruad case representing the agency. The agency is not too organized technically in seeking litigation.
More so, the Nigerian judiciary is becoming a mess! Delayed justice and justice denied.
Sanusi had his tendencies, but did the right thing to making the banks. He could not have done more in a corrupt Nigeria!

So u expect pmb to throw him in jail using military decree? It was people like you that kept reminding APC during campaigns that we in democracy and the president can't throw anyone in jail unlike his military era. So now coz its PMB the court should not be allowed to carry out its functions? And I know its people like you that will scream DICTATOR if PMB decides to act beyond the constitution. Always be truthful to yourself, its gonna make you live longer.

Perhaps he passed that for an opportunity to cast a barb at the President?
