The market for connected health just got crowded as Google’s X research division unveiled Its Health-Tracking Wristband that is aimed for in clinical trials and drug tests, giving researchers or physicians accurate and relevant data on how patients are faring which therefore can help them with the next line of action best for their patients.

The device though is currently an experimental device which is capable of measuring pulse, heart rhythm and skin temperature, and also environmental information like light exposure and noise levels.
