The race for election has started in Tanzania with a healthy number of aspirants including two former prime ministers, several cabinet ministers and other senior government officials. However, among the list of potential candidates is a farmer - Eldoforce Bilohe. Eldoforce Bilohe is a 43-year-old farmer with primary school education, and he wants to be the next president of Tanzania come October 2015. Bilohe has picked up a registration form alongside 30 other aspirants under the auspices of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) to vie for the party’s presidential nomination. Supporters of the CCM party said Bilohe’s participation in the race is an evidence of true and inclusive democracy within the party.
